A cotton beekeeping jacket with an attached veil — the half-suit option for keepers who already have pants or prefer the freedom of working in their own. The breathable cloth gives you solid sting protection through the upper body where most defensive bees go, and the attached veil keeps your face and neck covered without a separate purchase. Sized XS through 5XL.
Features
- Upper-body beekeeping jacket in breathable white cotton cloth
- Attached veil with clear front visibility, folds back when not in use
- Elastic cuffs and drawcord hem to seal against bees
- Lightweight and foldable — packs down for transport between yards
- Nine sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL
- Machine washable (remove veil first), air dry
How it works (in real life)
A jacket is the practical choice for keepers who do most of their stings-risk work above the waist and don't want the heat or hassle of a full suit. You pull it on over a shirt, zip the veil, and you're covered from the waist up. For routine spring and fall inspections in moderate weather, cotton breathes well enough to stay comfortable. In peak summer heat a fully ventilated mesh jacket will run cooler — see the alternatives below. If you want full-body coverage, the matching cloth suit uses the same fabric and veil.
Before you order
- Sizing: Cut to fit over light clothing. Size up if you plan to layer underneath in cooler weather.
- What's included: The jacket and its attached veil, plus a free pair of gloves (choose the type and size in the cart pop-up). Pants are sold separately.
- Coverage: Upper body only. For waist-down protection, wear it with beekeeping pants or step up to the full suit.
- Care: Machine wash with the veil removed. Air dry — do not tumble dry, which can shrink cotton and stress the veil mesh.

FAQ
Does the jacket come with a veil?
Yes — a veil is attached. You do not need to buy one separately.
What's the difference between the jacket and the suit?
The jacket covers the upper body only. The suit is full-body, adding pants in the same cloth. Pick the jacket if you already have pants or work mostly above the waist; pick the suit for head-to-ankle coverage.
Can it be machine washed?
Yes. Remove the veil first, wash on a gentle cycle, and air dry. Avoid the dryer.
What should I wear underneath?
A long-sleeved shirt and long pants. The jacket protects your upper body; sturdy pants and closed shoes cover the rest.
Is it ventilated?
No — this is solid cotton cloth. For hot-weather work where airflow matters, a fully ventilated mesh jacket breathes better.
