Swarm Commander® Super Lure - 90 Day Swarm Lure
The Swarm Commander® Super Lure is a 90-day, long-lasting swarm lure that does the work of catching a swarm for you. Hang it in a trap or an empty hive and it releases the same attractant scout bees are looking for, drawing a swarm to the box and holding their interest for at least 90 days on a single lure — no re-dosing every couple of weeks.
Features
- Lasts at least 90 days once opened — longest-lasting lure we make
- Pre-charged: open the package and hang it, no spraying or measuring
- Flexible material is safe for bees and reusable after you catch a swarm
- One-year shelf life sealed in the original packaging
- Built for commercial keepers running many traps
How it works in real life
Scout bees pick a new home by scent. Open the package, hang the lure from a top bar in a swarm trap or empty hive, and close it up. The lure steadily releases the swarm attractant, so a passing swarm reads the box as a strong nest site and moves in. Because one lure runs the full swarm season — about 90 days — you can bait a trap in spring and leave it, instead of re-charging it every two weeks like a spray.
Before you order
This is the long-lasting hang-up lure. If you would rather spray or dose, we also carry it as a 2 oz spray, a 1 oz gel, and crush vials. Pair any of them with a Swarm Trooper swarm trap to catch wild swarms.
