Honey Bee Grafting Tool - Stainless Steel | Precise and Reliable
The stainless steel grafting tool is the tool you reach for when moving day-old larvae into cell cups for queen rearing. A slim, long neck reaches down into the cups, and the spoon-shaped tip slides under a larva to lift and place it without rolling or damaging it. The stainless ends rinse clean and store dry.
Features
- Stainless steel — easy to clean, no rust
- Long neck for reaching into deep cell cups
- Spoon-shaped tip on each end for lifting larvae
- European-made
How to use it
Slide the spoon end down the cell wall, under the larva and the small pool of royal jelly it sits in, and lift gently. Set the larva into the bottom of a primed cell cup, jelly-side down, and withdraw the tool. A steady hand and good light make the transfer quick once you have done a few.
Pairs well with
- Plastic Queen Cell Cups — graft into these
- Queen Cell Protector (Push-In) — protect the finished cell
- Posca Queen Marking Pen
