Use:
Our 10-frame cloak board for queen rearing makes it easy to completely separate your queen from the rest of the hive. All you have to do is slide the metal divider into the queen excluder part of the cloak board when the queen is in the lower hive body.At that point, the worker bees will be completely cut off from their queen, which will encourage them to prepare for a new queen. Once they’re prepared to replace the existing queen – about 24 hours after inserting the metal divider – all you have to do is use a grafting tool to insert the larvae, which will provide candidates for new potential queens. To make the grafting process easier, use our JZs BZs queen cell cups to hold the larvae. With the worker bees under the assumption that they must replace their queen, there’s a greater chance the grafted larva will be accepted. The final step is to remove the divider; this while keep the existing queen separated from the worker bees while the grafted queens are incubated. Please note using this product requires knowledge in grafting larvae.
