8oz Wildflower Bee Pollen - Blythewood Bee Company
Raw wildflower bee pollen — granules that foraging bees pack from a wide range of wildflowers, collected at the hive with a pollen trap, then cleaned and gently dried. A natural, high-protein food you can stir into smoothies, sprinkle over granola or yogurt, or eat by the spoonful. Because the bees choose the flowers, the color and flavor vary from batch to batch.
Features
- Wildflower bee pollen granules — 8 oz
- Typically 20–30% protein (amino acids) and 40–50% carbohydrates
- Collected at the hive with a pollen trap, then cleaned and dried at low temperature
- Natural color and flavor vary by season and local flora
- Add to smoothies, granola, and yogurt, or eat on its own
How it works in real life
Bees pack pollen into baskets on their hind legs as they forage. A pollen trap at the hive entrance gently brushes some of it loose into a collection bin. Pollen is harvested only at times that leave the colony plenty of its own reserves, then cleaned and dried at low temperature to keep the granules intact.
Start with a small amount — about a teaspoon — and adjust to taste. The granules are slightly sweet and floral and soften in liquid, so they blend easily into a smoothie or stir into honey.

FAQ
How do I use it?
Stir it into smoothies, granola, or yogurt, mix it into honey, or eat a small spoonful on its own. Start small and adjust to taste.
Why does the color and flavor vary?
Bees gather from whatever wildflowers are in bloom, so each harvest reflects a different mix of plants.
Is it safe for people with allergies?
It does not contain any of the eight major food allergens, but bee products can cause allergic reactions in some people. If you have pollen or bee-product allergies, check with your doctor before trying it.
How should I store it?
Keep it cool and dry. For long-term storage, refrigerate or freeze the granules.
