It worked!!

We purchased our bee lure about 3 weeks ago - today, a swarm of bees found our hive and started to make themselves at home. *I think it would have worked faster if we didn’t have a large wildfire close to our home with lots of smoke… We were so excited to see them, and hope they stay!

It flat works

This stuff works great first trap caught my first swarm . It does what they say it will do. Can't wait cause next year I am putting out 5 traps.

I have used it for several years, but the last two years have had disappointing results so far. I have caught 3 swarms this year within 30 feet of a empty hive body set up with swarm commander lure inside, I felt I should of had at least a couple swarms move into this setup. I have such a set up at each of my 10 locations but have not caught one yet. I did catch 3 last year, and did quite well 2 years ago with the same set up. Don

It worked!

I am blown away. I am a second year beekeeper and lost my bees over the winter. I was hesitant to buy another package from the south and freeze them to death so on a whim I thought I’d save $120 and but this $12 lure and give it a shot. It was terrible weather here early spring but I wrapped it around a frame inside the box for a few days to get the scent inside then let it hang out the front of the box. I really didn’t expect to catch anything but a few days later I looked out the kitchen window and saw a bee buzzing right outside above the box. I went outside and saw more scout bees checking the hive out. I just had it on my deck. The next day both boxes were surrounded by bees. One seems to bee a swarm that has moved in for good. The other has old brood that they are cleaning to get ready for a swarm but I don’t believe is officially occupied. Either way, this stuff definitely works at attracting bees. If you are on the fence, buy it. Don’t waste money on a package unless it is a bad time of year.
