Wooden Handle Frame Grip
A bee frame grip with a comfortable wooden handle and an all–stainless steel body, built to lift and hold hive frames securely so every inspection is steadier and cleaner. Squeeze the handle, clamp the top bar, and lift — one-handed.
Features
- Comfortable wooden handle
- Stainless steel body — rust-resistant and easy to clean
- Strong spring for a secure hold on the frame's top bar
How it works in real life
During an inspection you often need a free hand. The frame grip clamps onto the top bar of a frame so you can lift it straight up out of a brood chamber or honey super without pinching bees or dropping comb. It's especially handy for breaking out that tight first frame, or for moving frames into a nuc or onto a frame perch while you work.
Before you order
This is the wooden-handle version — we also offer an all–stainless steel grip if you prefer a one-material tool. It grips the top bar of standard wooden and plastic Langstroth frames, and the stainless body wipes clean of wax and propolis.
Pairs Well With
- 2-in-1 Frame Lifter & Scraper — lift and scrape with one tool

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit both wooden and plastic frames?
Yes — it grips the top bar of standard Langstroth frames, wooden or plastic.
Wooden handle or all-stainless?
This is the wooden-handle grip, preferred for a warmer feel in the hand. The all–stainless steel grip is a one-material alternative that's just as easy to clean.
How do I clean it?
Wipe propolis and wax off the stainless body with a scraper or warm water; the spring and jaws resist corrosion.
