No Varroa Pro Oxalic Acid Vaporizer | Blythewood Bee Co.
The No Varroa Pro oxalic acid vaporizer is the heavy-duty version of our standard NoVarroa vaporizer, built to work through a larger bee yard. It treats a colony in one short cycle, and anti-tip side wings keep it stable inside the hive.
Features
- Heavy-duty build: made for back-to-back treatments across a bigger operation.
- Anti-tip side wings: keep the vaporizer stable and upright inside the hive.
- Single-cycle treatment: treats a colony in one short cycle.
- 12-volt powered: runs off any standard 12-volt battery.
How it works
Following your oxalic acid product's label, load the cup with the labeled dose (about one gram per brood chamber), insert it into the hive, and seal the entrance with a damp rag. Connect the leads to a 12-volt battery for the cycle, then leave the unit in place a couple of minutes to cool before removing it. Keep the hive sealed afterward so the vapor distributes. Always follow the label's rates, timing, and protective-equipment directions.
