How it works
Assemble the wooden rim with basic tools, set it on top of your 10-frame Langstroth hive box, and drop the two plastic tubs into it side by side. The rim does two jobs: it holds both tubs securely, and it lifts them above the hive box just enough that bees can enter the center chimney area (the gap between the tubs) as well as the four corner channels. Pour up to 2.25 gallons of 1:1 syrup across both tubs. Bees climb up through the access points, drink, and return — without falling in. For dry feeding, pull the center chimney cap and let them range across the full surface; for dry white sugar, add a damp sponge to give them moisture.
