Mother Lode Medium 1-Gallon In-Hive Feeder Set with Cap-n-Ladder (6 5/8″ × 3″)
Built for medium hive bodies — feed a full gallon of syrup safely without converting to a deep box. This in-hive feeder hangs like two frames in your medium super, with a snap-on cap and mesh ladders that keep bees out of the syrup until it's time to climb in.
Features
- Holds approximately 1 gallon (128 oz) of syrup
- Replaces 2 frames in a medium hive body
- Includes snap-on cap with built-in mesh ladders
- Textured inner walls give bees traction
- Heavy-duty black polypropylene
- Free clips included
- Made in the USA
How it works
Hang the feeder between frames in your medium hive body — it takes up two frame slots. Snap the support bars across the trough opening, insert the mesh ladders, and snap the cap on top. Pour syrup through the gap in the cap. Bees enter through the cap, climb down the mesh ladders, drink, and climb back out — without drowning.

FAQ
Will this fit a deep hive body? It will physically fit (mediums are shorter than deeps), but you'll have wasted vertical space. Use a Mother Lode Deep feeder for deep boxes.
Do I need to buy the cap-n-ladder separately? No, it's included.
Why does it replace 2 frames instead of 1? The 3″ width makes it wider than a standard frame, so it occupies the space of two.
