How it works (in real life)

Most keepers protect the upper body with a jacket and leave their legs in whatever they're wearing — fine until you kneel beside a hive and a bee finds your thigh. These cotton pants close that gap cheaply: pull them on over your regular clothes, zip the ankles down over your boots, and your lower half is covered. The cargo pocket is big enough for a phone or a frame tool, and the hive tool pocket keeps your scraper where you can grab it. Being solid cotton, they run warmer than mesh in peak summer but cost far less and hold up to rough use.
