Full-length ventilated goatskin gloves with extended canvas sleeves that protect your whole forearm up to the elbow. The supple goatskin palm gives you the feel to handle frames and work gently around the bees, while the long canvas gauntlet covers the gap where shorter gloves leave skin exposed — the spot guard bees love to find. The mesh vent keeps your hands cooler on hot summer inspections.

Features

  • Premium goatskin palm and fingers — supple, sting-resistant, good dexterity
  • Extra-long canvas sleeve covering the full forearm up to the elbow
  • Elastic bands to hold the sleeve in place and seal out bees
  • Knitted nylon mesh vent for airflow on warm days
  • Sizes 6XS through 3XL

How It Works

Most stings to the arm happen in the gap between a short glove and a rolled-up sleeve. The extra-long canvas gauntlet closes that gap entirely, running up to the elbow so guard bees can't find skin. The goatskin palm keeps the dexterity you need on the frames, and the mesh vent lets heat escape so your hands don't cook during long summer inspections.

Before You Order

These extend to the elbow — longer coverage than our standard vented gloves. Goatskin runs close to true hand size and softens slightly with use, so if you're between sizes, size down for the best feel. Sold by the pair.

FAQ

How are these different from the regular gloves?
Same goatskin construction, but the canvas sleeve extends to the elbow for full forearm coverage instead of stopping at the lower forearm.

Will bees sting through them?
Goatskin resists stings well. No glove is fully sting-proof, but a properly fitted goatskin glove rarely lets a stinger reach skin.

How should they fit?
Snug but not tight. The leather gives slightly with wear, so a close fit when new breaks in comfortably.

Great company and very friendly staff. I don’t mind driving two hours to shop with this company. Can’t wait to get my Nuc soon and start my second year of beekeeping.
