The triple-layer mesh ventilates through the gap between layers, so you stay cooler than you would in a solid suit while the weave keeps bees from reaching skin. The detail that sets it apart from other mesh suits is the leg zipper length — 18-inch YKK zippers run far enough up each leg that you can step in with your boots already on instead of wrestling the cuffs over them. The veil detaches at the zipper for washing or replacement. For upper-body-only coverage in the same fabric, the matching jacket is the lighter option.
