Ultimate Grafting Tool Kit | Twin Pack
The Ultimate Grafting Tool Twin Pack gives you two grafting tools for moving day-old larvae into cell cups during queen rearing. Each tool has a thin, flexible tongue that slides under a larva and the bit of royal jelly it rests in, then a spring-loaded plunger sets the larva gently into the cell cup. Two tools per pack, so you have a spare or one for a helper.
Features
- Flexible tongue slips under the larva without rolling it
- Spring plunger releases the larva into the cup
- Two tools per pack
- Lightweight — comfortable for a long grafting session
How to use it
Slide the tongue down the cell wall, under the larva and its jelly, and lift. Position the tip at the bottom of a primed cell cup and press the plunger to lay the larva down, jelly-side intact. The flexible tip does the delicate work, which makes grafting easier on the hands and eyes than a rigid tool.
Pairs well with
- Plastic Queen Cell Cups — graft into these
- Stainless Steel Grafting Tool — a rigid spoon-tip alternative
Specifications
