Swarm Commander® Premium Swarm Lure 1oz GEL
Swarm Commander® Gel is the longest-lasting liquid format of the lure: it holds in a bait hive for about three weeks per application, versus roughly a week to ten days for the spray. Unscrew the top and squeeze a few short lines into a trap or empty hive to draw passing swarms in.
Features
- Lasts about 3 weeks in your trap when used as directed
- 1 ounce of Swarm Commander Gel
- Easy-open top — unscrew and squeeze to apply
- About a 2-year shelf life
How it works in real life
Scout bees pick a new home by scent. A freshly baited box reads as an established colony, so a passing swarm investigates and moves in. Because the gel releases slowly, one application carries about three weeks — longer than the spray between refreshes.
How to use it
- Mount your swarm trap 6–8 feet off the ground, ideally along a wood line.
- Apply two to three one-inch lines of gel inside the box.
- Check the trap every 1–2 weeks for activity.
- Reapply after 2–3 weeks if needed.
