How it works (in real life)
This jacket is for keepers who spend real time in the hive and want the details solved. The two things that frustrate people about mesh jackets are gaps at the neck and the hem creeping up — the overlapping neck zipper closes the first, and the extra-long torso fixes the second. The wire-frame veil is the upgrade over a plain fencing veil: it stands off your face on its own frame instead of resting against it, so you get clearer sight lines and no mesh on your nose. Like the rest of the mesh line, the triple-layer fabric ventilates for summer work. If you want full-body coverage in the same fabric, the matching suit adds the pants.

What is the wire-frame veil?
The veil has an internal wire frame that holds it open and away from your face, instead of a soft veil that can rest against your skin. It collapses for storage and unzips for washing or replacement.
