Metal Frame Spacer Set
Galvanized metal frame spacers that fit over the frame rests of any hive body or super and hold your frames at even, correct spacing. Sold as a set of two — one for each end of the box. Pick the frame count that matches how you want the box run.
Features
- Two spacers per set — one for each box end
- Galvanized metal — durable and rust-resistant
- Cutouts hold frames at even, repeatable spacing
- Fit deep, medium, and shallow boxes
- Protect the wooden frame rests from wear
How it works in real life
Drop a spacer over each frame-rest ledge and the cutouts do the rest — every frame seats at the same gap, so bees draw even, fully built comb instead of bridging or over-thickening it. Running fewer frames in a box (9 in a 10-frame, 8 in a 9-frame, and so on) gives fatter combs that are easier to uncap at harvest.
Before you order
Choose your Frame Size by how many frames you want the box to hold: 7, 8, 9, or 10 frame. Each set fits a box of that nominal width, and mounts in any depth — deep, medium, or shallow.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many spacers come in a set?
Two — one for each end of the box.
Which size do I need?
Match the spacer to the number of frames you want the box to hold. For example, a 9-frame set runs nine frames in a ten-frame box for fatter, easier-to-uncap comb.
Do they fit medium and shallow supers?
Yes — they mount on the frame rests of deep, medium, and shallow boxes alike.
