Ross Round Refill Kit For Round Comb Honey
The Ross Round Refill Kit restocks a Ross Round super for another season of round comb honey — the consumable parts that wear out or ship with the honey, bundled in the counts a 10-frame super needs. If you already own the super and frames, this is the once-a-season buy that gets you producing again.
What's in the kit
- 64 comb rings — bees draw and cap natural comb inside each ring
- 32 opaque section covers
- 32 clear (crystal) section covers
- 8 sheets of thin surplus foundation to start the comb
How it works in real life
Round comb honey is sold in the ring: the bees build comb inside each plastic ring, cap it, and you cover both faces to make a finished, shelf-ready round. Each season you keep the super and the frames but consume the rings, covers, and foundation — they leave with the honey. This kit replaces those parts in the quantities a 10-frame Ross Round super uses, so you can reload and run the super again without buying piecemeal.
Press a sheet of thin foundation into the assembled rings, run the super through a strong nectar flow, and once the rounds are drawn and capped, snap an opaque cover on one face and a clear cover on the other.

FAQ
Does this include the super and frames?
No. It's a refill of the consumable rings, covers, and foundation. You keep and reuse the super and frames each season.
How many rounds will it make?
64 rings' worth — the full complement for a 10-frame Ross Round super.
What's the difference between opaque and clear covers?
Opaque covers go on one face and clear covers on the other, so the finished round shows the comb through the clear side while staying protected.
Do I need anything else to produce round comb?
A Ross Round super, frames, and a strong nectar flow. Bees only draw clean round comb when there's plenty of nectar coming in.
