The NO Varroa Oxalic Acid Vaporizer is perfect for my flow hive. I tried a different vaporizer from another company but it was too large for the hive entrance. This item was perfect for my brand of bee hive. Love it:)

I have not used it yet. It looks like my old one. I will be starting treatments next next week. I have not done a burn test either on it to check for the burn time. Please check back with me.

I just used my vaporizer for the 2nd time, and when i went to clamp the positive to the batter the clamping fell into 4 pcs,,,, two sides of clamp, spring and the pin that goes thru them to hold it together.

I would love to write a review about this Vaporizer, unfortunately, BLYTHEWOOD BEE COMPANY never sent it to me!!! After 15 days, I am STILL waiting for it! So as far as I know, it is a piece of junk!!!

I ordered this vaporizer to be able to use it on a hive with a very small entrance reducer that the bees had so heavily secured with propolis. Shipping was really fast and it only takes 2 1/5 minutes for vaporization. I have purchased a small EverStart Power Sport battery and it has worked extremely well with the vaporizer. The quality of the vaporizer is sturdy and I appreciate the thicker cables. I appreciate the price as well. This is my second vaporizer and takes have the time the other one does to vaporize! I can now do my hives in a relatively short time. Thank goodness for my problem of too small of an entrance reducer on my hive that necessitated finding a thinner vaporizer that ended up being better and a perfect solution. Thanks for a great product!

The good is this was half price and worked just fine. I had sent questions twice asking about the type of metal used as I didn't want aluminum. My questions were never answered and the unit is aluminum - not that big of a deal really. I had also asked if this had the wings near the cup to keep the wand from turning over and was told YES - wings are in the box and you can add them if wanted. Well there are no wings - just the entrance closure piece shown in the photo. This thing flips very easily because the cord is stiff and when you set it down and happen to touch the cord or oxalic acid will dump out. Now I know - always hold firmly and do not rest the unit or set it down to fill the cup. I'm not sure it got hot enough as there was a lot of white powder just above where the cup was inserted into the hive - I did see a few wisps of vapor swirl out where I had a tiny leak so I know that it did vaporize, at least to some degree. If I had paid more for this I would have sent it back. And to be fair the only other two I have used were very high end units that belonged to a friend - one being on of those digital units. If you have $500 to spend buy on of those : )

Vaporizer looks well made and would seem to be easy to use however instruction sheet stated battery used to power vaporizer should be 12Volt and 5 Amp capacity. Using a higher capacity battery could damage vaporizer. Where are you supposed to get a battery like that? Most bee keepers use auto batteries or hook up vaporizer to ATV or lawn mower battery. Auto battery has at least 10 times more amps. Vaporizer was very reasonably price. If special battery is required might not be such a good deal. Just doesn’t make sense to me. Battery is just a reserve of power. As long as power being pulled from battery does not exhaust reserved power it should be no problem with vaporizer.

I already had a Varrox wand but even though we have just 4 hives I wanted to speed up the process so that it would be less onerous and more likely to stick to the schedule. This NO Wand is very affordable and has worked as well as the much more costly Varrox. I do miss the ability to dunk this wand as I can with the Varrox and have to air cool it down between uses. May try a small battery powered fan to speed that up or lightly spraying the underside with water as well.
I made two entrance reducers with the openings just the right size to slide the wand in and out & take advantage of the metal plate to seal off. Have to figure out how to hold this in place as the wand doesn't stay well pressed against the entrance reducer and I don't want to stand there holding it during the vaping as I can't hold my breath that long. I'll come up with some sort of quirky fix as I usually do. So very happy with the performance and cost of the NO and for me it is not "NO" but YES!

The vaporizer was a great value. It was on sale and worked perfectly. Blythewood shipped it the day after my purchase and it arrived a day later.

The vaporizer worked the way it was explained. Hooked it up to a battery charger at 2 amps. Ran a test run first and set my times to that test. Saw a review before I bought that gave it a lower star rating because they felt inconvenienced about writing a review when they haven’t used it yet and Blythewood kept asking for a review . My opinion disregard that review and for the money it is a great value.

There is a nectar flow on and I will use it in August.

I haven’t used the vaporizer yet but already have it when I do. I just could not not buy it at the great price!
