The No Varroa Pro oxalic acid vaporizer is the heavier-duty version of our standard NO Varroa vaporizer, built for working through a larger bee yard. It treats a colony in a single short cycle, and side wings keep it from tipping over inside the hive.
How it is used
Following your oxalic acid product's label, load the cup with the labeled dose (about one gram per brood chamber), insert it into the hive, and seal the entrance with a damp rag. Connect the leads to a 12-volt battery for the cycle, then leave the vaporizer in place a couple of minutes to cool before removing it. Keep the hive sealed afterward so the vapor distributes. Always follow the label's rates, timing, and protective-equipment directions.
