Honey Harvesting Kit – Honey B Gone® + Universal Fume Board
The honey harvesting kit pairs Honey B Gone® with a Universal Fume Board so you can clear a honey super and pull your harvest in one trip. Honey B Gone® is an almond-scented fume liquid; the fume board is the cover that puts it to work. Together they encourage the bees down out of the super in minutes — no overnight wait.

How it works (in real life)
A fume board is a hive-top cover with an absorbent pad on the underside. On a warm, sunny day, set the board in the sun for a few minutes so the dark top heats up, then apply a light coat of Honey B Gone® to the pad — a bead around the perimeter and an 'X' through the center is plenty. Pull the hive's outer and inner covers, set the fume board pad-side down on the super you want to clear, and wait 5–10 minutes while the almond scent encourages the bees down into the brood box. Lift the cleared super, brush back any stragglers, and repeat for the next super, reapplying as needed.

FAQ
What comes in the kit?
A Universal Fume Board plus one bottle of Honey B Gone® in the size you select at checkout. The board fits both 8- and 10-frame hives.
How does it work?
Warm the board in the sun, coat the pad with Honey B Gone®, set it on the open super, and the bees move down within 5–10 minutes. Lift the super and harvest.
How is this different from a bee escape?
A fume board clears a super in minutes, so you can harvest in a single visit. A bee escape needs overnight. Many beekeepers keep both.
Will it harm the bees or honey?
It's applied to the fume board's pad, not to the comb or the bees, so it doesn't contact your honey — it works from above to encourage the bees down off the super.
Which Honey B Gone® size should I choose?
8 oz for a few hives, 16 oz or the gallon for a larger apiary, and the 5-gallon pail for commercial-scale harvesting.
