How it works in real life
When you graft, you move a young larva from a brood comb into a cup, then mount the cups on a cell bar inside a cell-builder colony. The wide JZBZ Type base holds the larva steady, and the smoky plastic keeps the larva easy to see against the cup — which matters when you are grafting dozens in a sitting. The push-pin base turns into the cell bar and stays put.
