Stainless Queen Clip
The stainless steel queen clip is a simple, spring-loaded clip for catching the queen and holding her safely while you mark her, move her, or confirm she is laying well. Squeeze it open, set it over the queen on the comb, and release — the slotted sides let workers walk through while keeping the queen contained and able to breathe.
Why stainless
Stainless steel shrugs off propolis and wax, wipes clean, and lasts season after season. The slotted design holds the queen without pinning her, so there is no pressure on her body while you work.
How to use it
Open the clip, place it gently over the queen where she stands on the frame, and let it close around her. Carry her, cage her for marking, or check her over, then open the clip at the spot you want to release her. Work over the open hive so she drops toward the frames if she slips free.
