Built well, but drowns bees

I thought this feeder would be a good alternative to my bucket feeder, but I was wrong. In all 4 corners and middle I found drowned bees (I have all the clear pieces installed correctly). It wasn't a lot of dead bees, maybe around 10 or so in each spot, but when you keep finding more dead ones every few days, the numbers add up. After a few feedings and drowned bee removal, I had enough, and removed the top feeder and put my old bucket feeder back on. I will never use it again. I complained to the manufacturer directly through their website, but received no reply.

Easier top feeding to replace outside feeder. Highly recommend!

I purchased two of these earlier this year. After what seems like way too much time researching top feeders I heard about these. I thought they made the most sense from the various ones I considered. Since using them going on one month now and a couple gallons of syrup I have to say they work great! I have not had one drowned bee. I see them using both the center chimney and all four corners. My hives are pretty level so that might help.
