Difficult to begin assembly

The trap functions as it should, but, the instructions do NOT show clearly which side is outside or where to begin. It took me going to YouTube and watching a video on how to assemble it to finally understand where to begin. Once I watched the video everything went together well.

Yes...Alfred...it can be a bit tricky without the video. I'm glad you got it worked out.

Swarm Trooper Swarm Trap

I recently purchased two of these. Baited with Swarm Commander lures. Easy to put together and mount. So far nothing caught but it's early and our weather has been strange

Needs upgrading inside.

For the money and shipping paid, these need an upgrade inside. I get that they say the cardboard inserts help the trap to smell like "wood" but it's cardboard. That's quite a stretch calling cardboard wood. After one year, (only put out during the 2-month peak swarm period), two of the straps that go around it to hold it together "dry-rotted and can't be used and the cardboard inserts got so swollen and /or "disfigured" that they can't be used again either. The front insert "legs" crumpled so bad and collapsed so that there isn't enough space for the bees to get in if they wanted to. I had to jimmy-rig them for this year with duck tape to get them to somewhat fit again. They sell carboard replacement inserts, but they are 1/2 they price of a new trap! They could make the inserts out of coroplast and solve this problem easily.
