JZ BZ Queen Cell Protector | NOT PUSHIN TYPE (100 PACK)
Protect your queen cells until they emerge. These JZ BZ cell protectors are molded from tough plastic that bees can't chew through, shielding ripe queen cells from damage during installation, banking, and transport. Sold 100 to a pack.
Features
- Tough molded plastic — bees can't chew through to reach the cell
- Non-pushin (hanging) style — suspends between top bars, no comb piercing
- Guards ripe queen cells from worker damage until the virgin emerges
- Easy to insert and retrieve; reusable
- Also protects cells during transport
- 100 protectors per pack
How it works
- Slip a ripe, capped queen cell into the protector.
- Hang the protector between the top bars of two adjacent frames in a queenless colony or finisher.
- The plastic shell shields the cell from workers until the virgin queen chews her way out.
- Retrieve and reuse once she has emerged.
Before you order
- This is the non-pushin style — it hangs between frames rather than pressing into the comb face.
- Add cells only once they're capped and ripe; handle gently and keep them warm.
- 100 per pack — sized for queen-rearing operations and cell builders.

FAQ
What does “non-pushin” mean? It hangs between the top bars instead of being pushed into the comb face, so it won't damage foundation or drawn comb.
Will bees destroy the cell inside? No — the hard plastic stops workers from chewing into the cell wall before the queen emerges.
Are they reusable? Yes — remove after emergence, clean, and use again.
